Apply the principles of prevention of cross infection and the risk of infection. Know the fundamentals of the clinical management of healthy individuals and those suffering from dental disease; acquire the principles of preventive dentistry in primary, secondary and tertiary interventions in order to implement individual and collective motivation and education and create health education programs in targeted population groups.
Cooperate in the collection of anamnestic data in relation to dental treatment. Motivate the patients (adults and children) and instruct them about the correct dental hygiene procedures to follow at home, through the use of adequate instruments.
