The health, social, education and prisons services are challenged to develop every possible preventive action and to contrast crime. Social Workers are called to work for criminals, victims and their families, through complex processes of intervention and understanding of deviance. The course, through the use of Social Criminology and Victimology, is meant to provide theoretical knowledge and technical intervention tools for social work on criminal justice, probation and assistance to victims.
