Learning outcomes

The course is divided into 2 modules. The first module aims to provide students with a theoretical and methodological tool-box oriented to an understanding of the policy-making process. The second module is intended to introduce the basic conceptual and methodological tools for comparative organizational analysis founded on new-institutional and ideational approaches, with a specific focus on party organizational change.

Students are expected to gain a specific knowledge oriented to identify: the main policy processes and policy tools; the structural and behavioral characteristics of private and public organizations and their position within the political system; the sources to collect information and data to draw autonomus research designs
