The course aims to provide knowledge of the contributions that geographical science can make to planning and particularly to the study and resolution of environmental issues.
Syllabus: Application of geographical methods in the protection against natural hazards. Energy resources and environmental issues. Relationship between climate and man. Bioclimatology. Climate changes and the recent global warming. Global climate change impacts: environmental, geo-economic and geo-political consequences.
