The course aims, in its first part, to reinterpret the organizational dynamics of business and the issues of human resource management in light of the paradigm of complexity.
Other theoretical and operational approaches of organizational studies continue to be conducted in patterns due to settings "conventional", therefore fundamental changes result from the tensions between modern and postmodern approaches to knowledge.
The complexity and dynamism of the markets and environments are pushing for a more adequate understanding of the factors that affect the dynamics of strategies, the use of multidisciplinary approaches to research, however, understanding how quantitative and qualitative changes are combined each other and with aspects such as indeterminacy, contingency, interdependence, the diversity.
In this context, human resources, in relation to their knowledge and skills of learning, are increasingly placed at the base of competitive advantage. The aims of the course, in the second part, are to understand the reasons behind this "value" accorded to human resources, explore how to manage people in the company because they actually become a stable basis for competitive advantage, provide advanced knowledge on the criteria that guide the choices of personnel policy.
