Learning outcomes

The course aims to inform the students about the different kinds of social media and social networks available. The opportunity offered by such media and networks to spread and to acquire scientific information (e.g. Research gate, Academia.edu), to be up to dated about jobs offers (e.g. Linkedin) or about the development of specific sectors (e.g. Twitter and Facebook), to share and to find imagines (e.g Pinterest and Instagram) will be discussed. The limits (fake news and false profiles) and the risks consequent the diffusion of personal information will also be examined.
