• The course aims to deal with issues related to the study and analysis of poetic, narrative or dramatic texts from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age of the various Portuguese-speaking countries. The historical and cultural contextualization goes along with theoretical and methodological matters related to literary text’s analysis. Objectives of the course are the improvement of knowledge in the literary history of the Portuguese-speaking countries, also in a comparative perspective, and the achievement of a secure competence for what concerns the analysis of the text in all its components.
