The aim of the course is to introduce students to a critical reading of an appropriate number of literary texts, chosen among the most significant ‘classics’ in Italian tradition. The student who completes the course successfully will be able to evaluate the formal characteristics of the proposed texts and to place them appropriately in the context of the cultural panorama of the era.
