The Objective of the Course on Rationale Mechanics is to make physical reality understandable by paying particular attention to mechanics through the use of logical schemes based on mathematics. The Course thus aims at providing the students with logical-deductive methods in order to enable to formulate and solve problems related to stillness and motion in rigid systems with a finite degree of freedom. At the end of the Course the students must demonstrate that they understand the principles which govern stillness and motion in systems and also that they are able to apply logical-deductive methods in order to solve problems.
