The objective of the program is to provide the mechanical engineering students with the basic knowledge of the Electrical Engineering (Electrical Circuits Theory, Electrical Machines, Electrical Drives and Electrical Safety).
After completing the program, the students should be able to:
- solve both DC and AC steady-state electrical circuits;
- choose an electrical machine with its drive capable to operate a mechanical load (with fixed or variable speed);
- assess the electrical safety degree of a simple electrical plant.
