Learning outcomes
Heat transfert: the course is intended to integrate and extend the former elementary knowledges of heat transfer, in the prospect of engineering applications. The fundamental mechanisms of heat transfer (conduction, radiation, convection) are reviewed and applied to the design of heat transfer devices and in particular heat exchangers and nuclear power plants.
Elements of applied informatics: provide the basics of numerical methods and practical skills necessary for the resolution of engineering problems by the MATLAB software.
