The course provides the students with the basic principles of industrial safety along with the basic elements and the application of risk analysis techniques.
The goal is the understanding of modelling techniques concerning the probability of accidental events as well as the physical consequences that such accidents cause.
The training is concluded with a brief discussion of the main guidelines specifically dealing with the safety of installations which explicitly require risk analysis techniques.
