Learning outcomes
To be awarded the degree, the student must carry out an individual research activity (not necessarily original) on a chemical subject of real interest, under the supervision of a teacher. The final examination will consist in the presentation of a written document (the thesis), reporting the results of the research, to be discussed in front of a jury that is appointed by the education structures. The final marks are given in a scale of 110, possibly with the mention "cum laude", and correspond to an assessment of the career of the student and of the scientific background and qualification he/she has reached at the end of his/her studies.
