Learning outcomes
The course is designed to bring the student to the understanding of the economics, management concerning the standardization and certification of management systems and quality control of companies, with specific attention to the chemical enterprises. Students are provided with the tools for a capable insertion in Certification Institution, for quality management of the companies. The course permits to identify those that need to be entrepreneurial skills, optimization of the organization, management efficiency, suitability structures and the presence of appropriate skills within the business realities.
The course describes the process of standardization and the relevant bodies whether in relation to national, European and international standards, with reference to the EU directives. The rules related to the management of the group of the Quality System (ISO 9000), with guidance on environment, safety and health are described in detail. The Responsible Care program and REACH are taken as references.
