Learning outcomes
The aim of the practical training in Inspection of food of animal origin is to provide the student with practical competences and capabilities on methods and operating procedures applied during the official control on food of animal origin in light of the current EU legislation.
Specifically, the practical activities foreseen during the Inspection internship of food of animal origin have the aim of ensuring that the student is able to: carry out ante-mortem inspection of animals destined for the food chain, also paying attention to aspects of well-being; perform a post-mortem inspection exam; perform an official inspection in order to assess the safety, traceability and quality of products of animal origin; perform controls on the hygiene conditions of the establishments that produce / process food of animal origin.
