The course have the objective of giving the students the knowledge of the problems arising in the pharmaceutical company during the production on large scale of the medicines with economically advantageous and innovative processes. It will be explained how the main chemical-physical concepts are applied in industrial processes and the resolutions which are adopted for the large-scale manufacture of the main dosage forms from raw materials. The main used technologies (dissolution, mixing, drying, compression, sterilization), machines, equipments and the packaging materials which are required in the pharmaceutical production will be explained to gain a Director with the appropriate ability and knowledge.
