Learning outcomes
The Course has the purpose of providing at the students fundamental knowledge to understand and interpret a pharmacological experimentation, by means the more classical methods and also the more innovative ones used in the pharmacological research.
The Course will include a theoretical part, during which the community/national law, on the animal experimentation, will be treated. Moreover main experimental models of pharmacology, used in the pre-clinical phase of the development of drugs of the central, peripheral, cardio-circulatory, respiratory system and anti-inflammatory drugs will be described.
The Course will also include an applicative part, in which slides and/or demonstration movies on some experiments will be shown.
Moreover, basic knowledge will be given at the students, in order to analyze the experimental results, by means the evaluations of experimental cases previously shown.
