The course provides notions on costruction of the secondary methabolites, The course also will deal with chemical approach to study of Poliketides, Terpene and metabolites of the Schikimic acid. Selected examples of total synthesis of natural products will be discussed: in a retrosynthetic analysis, the target molecule will be analyzed retrosynthetically to show and explain the evolution of the synthetic strategy. After that the execution of the synthesis will be discussed, with special emphasis on tactics, efficiency, selectivity and stereochemistry features.
