Providing the capability of representing and processing big amounts of georeferenced data for environmental modelling purposes, using open source softwares. The student will acquire padronance of the principles of image analysis applied to the interepretation of satellite imageries by using single images and temporal series to obtain time derivatives of the elements of interest. Quantitative balances will be made possible by linking information got from images to their georeferentiation .
