Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is providing the students with basic elements on the following matters: thermodynamics and thermofluidodynamics, moist air, indoor hygro-thermal comfort, moisture behavior of building components, cooling of buildings, heat transfer, thermal insulation of buildings, daylighting and artificial lighting, outdoor lighting, room acoustics, sound insulation in buildings, environmental noise. The basic elements are integrated with exercises and applications. The laboratory activities are planned with the scope to evaluate the hygro-thermal behavior of building envelope.
