The subject aims at giving the basic knowledge for the design of civil and industrial constructions, referring to some practical examples. It is also aimed at the acquisition of the foundations of architectural and technical composition through the practice of theoretical and experimental research, on the basis of settlement choices, functional layout, typological and figurative invention, structural and technological coherence. Technical elements constituting the building in relationship with the characteristics of the materials and consistently with the environmental requirements of the building.
