Learning outcomes

This evidence-based comprehensive course on restorative dentistry and periodontics provides teachings on the basic knowledge, which are considered the robust basis in everyday clinical activity. The course describes the epidemiology and etiology of almost all pathologies related to restorative dentistry and periodontology. A careful and deep analysis of microbiological factors associated to healthy and diseased clinical conditions will be analyzed. The students, who complete this course, will be taught in clinical and technological advances in restorative dentistry and periodontics. Moreover, the students at the end of this course will be able to recognize different levels of clinical difficulty, different degrees of risk for aesthetic, restorative and surgical complications related to restorative dentistry and periodontics.
