Learning outcomes

II year Internship
In the context of professional nursing, graduates are competent to health care powers provided by the DM Ministry of Health September 14, 1994, n.739, and subsequent amendments and additions that are responsible for general nursing. This preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative nursing, is of a technical, relational and educational nature. Their main functions are the prevention of illness, the care of the sick and disabled people of all ages and health education.

Second Year
At the end of clinical training the student must be able to apply the principles of planning disbursement and evaluation of nursing care, as well as aspects of information , education and support in major diseases and diagnostic and therapeutic medical and surgical paths, for patients of different ages, and clinical assistance to various situations including those of Mother and Child. Through the experience of clinical training in nursing territorial facilities, the student takes note of what may be needed for health promotion, disease prevention, basic care.
Objectives are to strengthen and refine skills in the execution of all benefits already learned; to identify the clinical manifestations related to the course of major diseases, their treatment, lifestyle factors, hospitalization; planning care interventions in common clinical situations in relation to the various age groups; to evaluate the effectiveness of welfare benefits provided . Put in place under the supervision of the Nurse Tutor or clinical health education interventions targeted to the user and to the family in relation to diagnostic and therapeutic medical and surgical paths.

At the end of the clinical internship, under a direct supervision, the student must be able to: know and perform the techniques of injection therapy, learn and perform the techniques of blood sampling; learn and perform the techniques of bladder catheterization; understand and describe the technical execution of the main exploratory bites; understand and describe the techniques of the main biopsies; learn and perform the preparation of patients in relation to diagnostic tests based on the commonly used protocols.
