Provide the theoretical and practical notions for tackling engineering problems of indoor acoustics in two sectors: 1) the protection of the health of workers subject to high-intensity and/or repeated noises; 2) the improvement of the acoustic performance of a room, according to its function. A first part of the course regards the quantitative and qualitative variables of the sound, and a second part involves experimental measurements using the sound level meter, to verify if the levels established by the regulations are respected.
