The students will be thought the main dynamics of the overall electrical power system and the main phenomena which characterize its behaviour. They will know the structure of generation and transmission facilities, the relevant dynamic models and the main control and regulation schemes. They will be able to identify and use the analytical and simulation tools needed to study each specific phenomenon.
