This course analyses the most important laws of electromagnetics (by introducing Maxwell equations in terms of differential forms and in materials) and introduces electromagnetic waves and principles of Optics as well as the propagation of electromagnetic waves in multilayer dielectric media. Finally, the electromagnetic spectrum is analysed, and some practical applications of the general theoretical concepts are addressed.
