On the completion of this course, the student will understand the basics of the electronic design of the elementary circuit blocks of a RF front-end: Low noise amplifiers (LNAs), mixers, oscillatori, frequency synthesizers, filters, and power amplifiers (PAs). The student will also be able to evaluate the impact of the design on the performances (sensitivity, linearity, power) of the most common transceiver architectures.
