Learning outcomes
The course proposes a first approach to the contemporary Romanian linguistic system in its historical and cultural dimension, both from a descriptive-normative point of view and from a contrastive perspective, through the learning of the phonetic and morphosyntactic compartment, lexical characteristics and through comparative and theoretical reflection on Romanian peculiarities in the context of Romance languages, as well as of the non-Romance (Balkan) contribution, to the constitution and evolution of the linguistic identity of the Romanian language. At the same time it is proposed a learning path related to the instrumental use of language in all four language skills (comprehension of written texts, understanding of the spoken language, written production and oral communication), which aims to reach the A2 level of linguistic competence of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
