Learning outcomes
The course is made up of two parts: 1) a thematic course, which consists of an in-depth reflection on the linguistic mechanisms that govern the organization of various types of texts in the Romanian language, and 2) a "lettorato" (practical exercises for the instrumental language learning), which aims to activate the fundamental structures of Romanian (morphology, syntax, vocabulary), leading the student to be able to manage communicative interactions in various situational contexts. Both the course and the language practice are designed with a view to achieving the B2 level of competence of the CEFR, which provides the ability to: understand speeches of a certain length and follow even complex arguments on a relatively familiar topic; read articles and reports on current affairs and understand a contemporary narrative text; communicate with a degree of spontaneity and fluency sufficient to interact normally with native speakers; produce clear and articulate texts and speeches on a wide range of topics.
