After a formal presentation and simulation, the student must learn the principles of cultural and professional basis, to help the process, the conceptual, the nurse-midwife acting against the patient and the community. Must compare the scientific knowledge gained from the practice of nursing oriented to identify the level of autonomy presented by the assisted person, his needs manifest, its capacity in relation to his physical, mental and social.

Objectives of the internship are: promoting social skills in relation to the users.
teaching the basics of basic guiding the process, the conceptual, the nursing action, against the person assisted.
Learning and interpret significant data, derived from observation of the patient in relation with pathological conditions that need a further diagnostic and therapeutic intervention.
Helping to identify lifestyle habits, reactions to the disease, hospitalization, health care interventions at different ages and in the most common clinical situations.
Getting to treat cardiorespiratory failure.

At the end of the internship the student must be able to: active participation and assistance of the pregnant woman's point of view of taking charge midwifwery care.
The purpose of it is to provide a correct view of the uterine cervix through the application of the speculum, as an aid in gynecological visit
- Implementation of the Pap smear and vaginal swab in gynecology
- Assistance woman during puerperium, which has carried out a vaginal delivery and by cesarean
- Assessment of uterine involution in the puerperium
- Assessment of the condition of the perineum after vaginal delivery with particular reference to the state of the suture and its proper dressing
- Assistance to the gynecological examination of post-partum discharge
