The course aims at providing the Student with a complete framework of the technological and architectural solutions used in aircraft on-board systems, as well as competences on the methods and tools used for the preliminary design of aircraft systems. In particular, in the module “Aircraft Systems Technologies”, the working principle and the general architecture of most relevant on-board systems are described, by presenting, for some systems, preliminary sizing techniques. in the module “Aircraft Systems Simulation Lab”, the basic competences for the development of dynamic simulation codes, by means of laboratory activities at PC. The presented CAE methods and tools are finally applied with the development of simulation codes describing the working dynamics of some on-board systems.
