The teaching has the purpose to describe the laws of the classical electromagnetism in vacuum and in the materials: electrostatics, electrical currents, magnetostatics, induction
electromagnetic, with the objective of a thorough Maxwell equation comprehension in in integral form.
In the second half, the course focuses on basic theorems in the theory of electric circuits, which allow to solve simple networks, and on basic electronics, in order to give the skills for analyzing and solving electronic circuits with active components, including the analysis of frequency response. Finally, the course gives notions of digital electronics in order to qualify in understanding the working principles of simple digital networks.
