In the course are discussed the different aspects of the consolidation of masonry and reinforced concrete buildings as well as wooden structures (floors, roofs). In particular, are examined the most common techniques for materials characterization and structural monitoring, the identification of causes of damage, the modelling of structures, stress analysis and design of static consolidation and seismic upgrading interventions.
