The main objective of the course is to provide detailed knowledge of the networking aspects of cellular systems (from GSM up to 5G), WLANs and Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). At the end of the course, the student will be aware of the different aspects to consider when designing and installing a WLAN, and she/he will be able to face the problems related to the choice of routing solutions for WMN. Moreover, the student will achieve the necessary skills to deal with the networking issues related to the world of mobile radio networks.
