Lo studente acquisirà conoscenze relative al funzionamento del mercato del lavoro. L'analisi principale farà riferimento alle relazioni tra lavoratori, datori di lavoro ed istituzioni (per esempio, sindacati, autorità pubbliche) sia a livello microeconomico sia a livello macroeconomico (contrattazione salariale, protezione dell'occupazione, politiche del lavoro). Sarà dato anche spazio alle inter-relazioni tra agenti economici in mercati ad interazione strategica in cui operano imprese e sindacati.

The student will be able to inquire about the functioning of the labour market. The main analysis will focus on the relationships between workers, employers and institutions (e.g. trade unions, public authorities) at both the micro and macro level (wage bargaining, employment protection, labour market policies). There will be room also for the study of the inter-relationships between economic agents in strategically interacting markets where firms and trade unions operate.
