Learning outcomes
The aim is the acquire knowledge of the tools of preparation of diets for
healthy individuals and within institutions. The student willl be able to:
- collect the anthropometric data of the first level
- calculate and evaluate the Body Mass Index (BMI)
- calculate the basal metabolic rate and total daily energy requirements
- use the methods of assessing dietary habits: 24h-recall, frequency questionnaire, dietary history, food diary
- develop personalized dietary patterns
- assess patient compliance through the achievements reached
- implement nutrition and education intervention in healthy subjects
- collect the dietary history of patients with eating disorders
- assess the patient's food diary with DCA
