Learning outcomes
To acquire knowledge on epidemiological, clinical and pathophysiological features of the major metabolic disorders, with particular reference to obesity, diabetes and dyslipidemias; to provide knowledge for the prevention and management of endocrine-metabolic diseases through proper eating habits, specifically taking into account the role of calorie intake and that of major nutrients, including quantity and quality of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins.
