Learning outcomes
Provide a better understanding of dental problems in pediatric patients and patients with special needs, with particular attention to the prevention of periodontal diseases, caries and malocclusion. Teach the methodology for a correct clinical approach to the problems of childhood, from newborn to adolescents; identify the epidemiological, etiopathogenetic, and clinical aspects of systemic disease and their possible correlation with the stomatognathic apparatus. Knowing the tools and methods to allow interventions of primary prevention in pediatric patients and in patients with special needs.
