Learning outcomes

Students who complete the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the theoretical basis necessary for the understanding biomechanics applied dentistry, combined with a good knowledge of the characteristics of the materials and technologies used in dental procedures and construction of dentures. In particular, he will learn the main properties of biomaterials used in dentistry, as well as the selection criteria rational to implement the procedures for prevention and treatment of dental diseases, also in terms of morphological and functional restoration. Will also learn the technologies prosthetic and laboratory needed to produce custom-made devices made by indirect methods and finalized their use in the field of prevention, restoration, implants and orthodontics.
