This module aims to develop an understanding of data governance i.e. (i) what decisions must be made to ensure effective management and use of IT; and (ii) creating structures and processes for who makes the decisions. This module will develop an understanding of data governance standards, methods and tools. New challenges in data governance for distributed data on the web and organisational digital transformation will be investigated.
