La prova finale consisterà nella stesura di una tesi di laurea che sia il prodotto di una ricerca originale, rielaborazione personale ed organica di contenuti coerenti con il percorso formativo, e che dimostri la capacità di utilizzare fonti edite o inedite in modo autonomo, informato e metodologicamente coerente. L’argomento dell’elaborato per la prova finale dovrà rientrare nell’ambito di uno dei settori scientifico-disciplinari presenti nell’Ordinamento del Corso di Laurea e indicati nel Regolamento didattico.
Il lavoro di tesi, a cui sono riservati 24 CFU, sarà compiuto sotto la supervisione di uno o più relatori e discusso dinanzi ad una commissione di docenti del Corso stesso. Per essere ammesso alla discussione dell’elaborato per la prova finale, lo studente deve avere preventivamente conseguito un totale di 96 CFU tra esami e attività extracurriculari.
