The course aims to analyze aspects of hieratic writing from the Old Kingdom to the Roman Period through the reading and analysis of textual sources mainly in papyrus. Lessons include the transcription and translation of ieratic texts. The aim of the course is not only the reading of texts, but also the discussion of the contents and the teaching of critical and methodological thinking.
