The focus of the course is to give the basic tools for the construction and the use of simulation models. After an introduction to the simulation, we will show the main simulation techniques, with particular reference to the discrete simulation. An important part of the course is devoted to the statistical methodologies for the analysis of input/output data. The last part of the course introduces the main concepts of System Dynamics and of the autonomous agents simulation.
