The course aims to introduce the student to the topic of human-machine interaction and the design of user interfaces. The course is organised as a journey through all the steps necessary for the design of a user interface. The course starts with the design of the User Experience (UX), introducing the User Interface (UI) design and then to its implementation. The course is conceived as a design course, mainly design and programming principles will be introduced. However, the tools and techniques necessary for the design and development of user interfaces will also be presented. The course also introduces the concept of multi-modal interfaces (not only graphic interfaces).
