The module aims to develop an understanding of the need for cloud computing, an appreciation of issues associated with managing cloud architecture ranging from business architecture aspects such as business processes to approaches to software architecture and design such as service orientation and quality considerations, and to develop critical analysis and problem solving skills in a cloud systems project. The module also aims to develop an understanding of data protection and privacy issues in the context of cloud computing.
