This course focuses specifically on cybersecurity challenges of the private sector. Students will gain an introduction to digital companies including topics such as civil liability, labour relations, protection of workers’ data, and cybercrime. The course will then turn to focus on issues related to cybersecurity and risk management. Students will therefore gain an understanding of the principles and foundations of the legal cybersecurity regime companies, and learn about the new business realities affected by cybersecurity requirements.
