This module will examine the legal challenges and opportunities of the combination of AI with blockchain technologies, in particular from a data protection perspective, with a special focus on cryptocurrencies. Students will learn about key concepts including cryptography, mining, and smart contracts. Bitcoin will provide a case study during the course of the module.
