Introduction to identifying and characterizing different types of geological materials and understanding problems related to their analysis. Students will learn basic principles of important instrumental methods applied to chemical, isotopic, and mineralogical analyses of geological materials. The course will also provide an understanding of how to acquire, evaluate, process, and present geoanalytical data.
