Module of Mathematical Analysis II
This course is designed as a shorter version of the standard course Mathematical Analysis II. The main points are differential calculus, extremizers and constraint extremizers for functions of many variables, integrals for function of several variables, the notion of the area. Moreover the course proposes a part dedicated at equations and systems of OD equations, linear part, stability and methods to make qualitative study of the solutions.
Module of Numerical methods
This course is designed to introduce numerical methods - i.e. techniques which lead to the (approximate) solution of mathematical problems which are usually implemented on computers. Through studying the material of this course students should gain an understanding of numerical methods, their derivation, analysis and applicability. They should be able to solve certain mathematically posed problems implementing numerical algorithms. In particular, the course intends to make the student familiar with the Matlab programming language, whose use in Engineering is widespread.
