Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of electrical circuits theory. The topics covered are: lumped parameters circuits; network topology; analysis of linear circuits in DC and AC steady-state, periodic steady-state; dynamic circuits; analysis of magnetic circuits; three-phase systems; multi-ports systems. Moreover the numerical codes for circuits simulation will be introduced. Finally preliminary knowledge of nonlinear circuits and electrical safety will be given.
